A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is currently looking for a User Research Assistant to join the AIML User Research team. You will assist and support researchers in study planning, execution, and analysis to enable the team to run an efficient and effective research program. You possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills, creative problem solving, high attention to detail, and a commitment to conducting impactful research in support of our product teams and customers.

Responsibilities:
Recruit and schedule participants for user studies
Ensure appropriate participant compliance with study protocols
Engage and communicate with participants before, during, and after studies
Setup and break down study session areas
Help ensure study materials, devices, and software will be ready for each study and participant
Assist with study facilitation, such as recording, note taking, and data collection
Assist with data review and clean-up
Assist with preparing and communicating results to stakeholder teams and archiving results
Help troubleshoot and maintain study lab equipment
Track and report on the status of a portfolio of projects in progress
Key Qualifications:
Previous work experience requiring high engagement with people
Qualitative user research experience including moderating studies, interviewing, and interacting with participants, ideally in-person and remote
Previous experience managing multiple projects of different complexity simultaneously
Previous experience with participant data management is preferred
Previous study annotation and data handling experience is a plus
High attention to detail and ownership
Strong communication skills with participants, team members, stakeholders, and leadership
Ability to problem solve and create processes and tools to increase efficiency
Familiarity with company's products and ecosystem is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, with major or concentration in human factors, cognitive or experimental psychology, human-computer interaction or related field OR equivalent in relevant experience

Duration: 7 months with extension
