Heritage Portraits and Albums, based in Anniston, AL, is currently in search of an enthusiastic Traveling Photographer who shares our passion for capturing the essence of first responders and public safety members through professional headshots and additional photographs. We are an on-the-go photography company that travels nationwide, collaborating with police departments, fire departments, and sheriff's offices to provide on-site photography services and deliver exceptional photo collections.

Position: Traveling Photographer

Location: Anniston, AL (with extensive travel)

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement:

    • Build and cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive and enjoyable photography experience.
    • Act as a friendly and professional point of contact, guiding clients through the entire process – from check-in to photographing and assistance with our sales consultants.
  2. On-site Photography:

    • Set up and manage on-site photography studios at various locations.
    • Capture 60-80 customers per day, maintaining a consistent and high-quality photographic style.
  3. Team Collaboration:

    • Work seamlessly with your teammate to ensure smooth operations during travel and on-site projects.
  4. Promotional Shots:

    • Direct and set up captivating 'promo' shots for each department, incorporating police cars or fire trucks in picturesque landscape settings.
  5. Logistics and Coordination:

    • Communicate effectively and coordinate with sponsors, serving as the primary point of contact.
    • Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment (up to 40 lbs.) as needed.

Requirements:

  • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment.
  • Availability to travel for up to 90 days at a time.
  • Previous photography experience.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Compensation:

  • $120/day for the first 30 days.
  • $160/day after the initial 30 days.
