Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population includes neurological critical care cases
• 12-hour day shifts are required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Strict rules regarding requested time off (RTO): a maximum of five days if not near holidays, or three days if during holiday periods
• Only one holiday request allowed; multiple days of RTO around holidays will not be approved
• Returning travelers must follow specific rehire waiting periods
• Team-oriented environment with a focus on high acuity neurological care

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Georgia or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months ICU experience required
• Former staff at the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months for the same facility
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
