Technical Documentation & Training Materials
JobTitle: Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Technical Writer include, but are not limited to:
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documents, including manuals, specifications, and user guides for products and solutions.
- Develop and design technical training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, instructional videos, and online modules to support both internal teams and customers.
- Prepare clear, engaging, and informative presentation materials for customer Lunch & Learn sessions, focusing on technical topics and product features.
- Collaborate with market strategy, and CS &PM teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation and presentations.
- Establish and maintain content standards for consistency, clarity, and quality across all technical documents and training materials.
- Act as a point of contact for customers regarding technical queries related to product documentation, providing clear explanations and support.
- Review and edit technical documents and materials to ensure they are free from errors, concise, and aligned with company style guides.
- Gather feedback from users (internal and external) and make continuous improvements to documentation and training content based on customer needs and feedback.
- Organize and manage the storage, versioning, and distribution of technical documentation and training materials in an accessible and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in technical writing, creating technical documents, manuals, and training materials.
- Understanding of technical products, engineering concepts, and industry-specific terminology. Experience with electrical engineering or power distribution is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficient in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documents for diverse audiences (internal teams, customers, and external partners).
- Strong skills in preparing and delivering engaging presentations, with experience using tools like PowerPoint or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable and accessible way.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and technical drawing tools (AutoCAD).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines, ensuring high-quality, accurate content.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (market strategy, and CS &PM) to gather information and ensure document accuracy.
