Supervisor Aircraft Cabin Service

Pay Rate: $24.39 per hour

Shift: 1730 - 0230

Supervisor—Cabin Services: Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors and galley stocking per aircraft specifications. Responsible for day-to-day operations, including scheduling, time sheets, overseeing staff, assisting in investigations, and responding to client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Supervisor experience - minimum 1 year required
  • Previous airline experience, preferably within Cabin  highly preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid/Active Driver’s License required

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Must be able to perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
  2. Must be familiar with all pertinent regulations. (Company/Client/Government Agencies)
  3. Schedule personnel daily and furnish the copy to General/Ops or Account Manager.
  4. Complete internal safety HRT/QC Audits
  5. Monitor employee activity and makes adjustments as needed.
  6. Make sure employees follow all regulations/procedures.
  7. Make decision concerning the operation when the Shift Supervisor or General Manager is not available.
  8. Check-In/Out sheets to ensure all employees have logged in times correctly
  9. Deals courteously and tactfully with fellow employees
  10. Handle complaints
  11. Communicate effectively with fellow employees and client representatives.
  12. Make recommendations to General Manager and/or Ops Manager regarding personnel performance.
  13. Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to General Manager/Ops Manager or Account Manager.
  14. Make sure state licenses and training records are current.
  15. On call 24 hours per day.
  16. Report inquiries and other major incidents to General Manager/Ops Manager or Account Manager.
  17. Handle off Schedule Operations when General Manager/Ops Manager is not available.
  18. Respond to inquiries from client, staff, and passengers in a courteous manner.
  19. Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
  20. Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff and public in a courteous manner.
  21. Attend meetings and in-services as required.
  22. Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required.
  23. Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials. Identification badges must always be visible.
  24. Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in the achievement of company objectives.
  25. Utilize company and client equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost effective manner.
  26. Perform quality assurance service audits as directed to conform to client's specifications and/or procedures.
  27. Perform other duties as requested.

  2. Possess the tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public.
  3. Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift.
  4. Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  5. Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English.
    1. No criminal convictions
    2. Must be able to verbally direct in English.
      1. Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
      2. Be able to resolve problem situations with passengers when necessary.
