Job Description Job Description Overview For more than three decades, our organization has been a prominent provider of outpatient treatment services, focusing on delivering safe, high-quality care for individuals dealing with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). With over 70 treatment facilities across various states, our dedicated team engages in medication-assisted therapies, counseling, and comprehensive care management for those affected by OUD. We adopt a holistic approach, addressing the root causes of OUD to ensure a continuum of care that not only meets treatment needs but also supports patients on their recovery journey. Position Summary: We operate several accredited methadone treatment centers recognized nationally for their commitment to assisting individuals struggling with prescription drug misuse and opiate addiction in reclaiming their lives. Our organization takes pride in treating patients with dignity and respect throughout every stage of their treatment process. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients in completing all necessary intake, admission, discharge, and transfer documentation. Document patient progress through counseling sessions and group interactions. Develop and complete individualized treatment plans and psychosocial assessments within designated timeframes. Identify clinical and case management needs and work towards addressing them. Conduct individual, group, and family counseling as needed. Provide direct one-on-one counseling to patients, either individually or in groups. Report any instances of patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation as required. Address patient grievances in accordance with established protocols. Educate patients on all aspects of their treatment, related health issues, and recovery steps. Collect urine drug screens and initial patient identification photos. Monitor patient activities within the center premises. Engage in community relations activities as directed. Familiarize oneself with and adhere to the Policy and Procedures Manual. Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA). Maintain appropriate licensure and/or certification as required by state regulations. Participate in preparations for surveys and inspections by CARF, state agencies, DEA, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulatory bodies as mandated by state laws. Attend all staff meetings. Comply with local, state, federal, and organizational policies and regulations. Act in the best interests of the program and organization, safeguarding proprietary data and rights. Perform additional tasks as assigned by clinic, regional, or corporate leadership. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Licensure/Certification: Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field . Experience: A minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
