Job Description
As a Document Scanning Specialist, you will be responsible for manually scanning hundreds of documents each day using a table scanner. You will ensure high standards in document preparation, scanning, indexing, and capture, while performing quality checks on the scans using a computer system. Strong attention to detail and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Manually scan documents each day using a table scanner.
Perform quality checks on scanned documents using a computer system to ensure accuracy.
Prepare, scan, index, and capture documents in compliance with high standards.
Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, sorting, and documentation scanning.
Support inventory management and logistics operations as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in document scanning software.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Work Environment
This position involves working in an open facility space, which includes opening boxes, scanning and labeling books, and using machines to de-bind books. The role requires the ability to move and lift up to 30 lbs. It also involves scanning paper on a tabletop scanner, ensuring scan accuracy and productivity, while performing quality checks on a computer screen. The environment promotes collaboration and efficiency in document handling.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
