Job Description:
The Scale Operator maintains an organized work environment, record keeping, computer logging, and other related duties.


Essential Functions:

• Maintain a safe and organized working environment on the dock
• Clean up spills on the dock area
• Keep close communication between the unloading dock and the staging ramp
• Correctly document the Customer, Carrier and Material type of inbound loads in SAP Business One
• Recording material that is hard to handle or requires additional preparation before it can be processed
• From time-to-time assisting in unloading trailers on the dock using an electric pallet jack or forklift
• Recording hazardous materials and keeping them aside for proper disposal

• 3-5 years' experience in logistics and production planning, or supply-chain management.
• Exposure to using SAP Business One is an advantage (training opportunities available within the Company).
• Former Hazwoper training is an advantage (training opportunities available within the Company).
• Moderate computer proficiency
• Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment
