What you will be doing:

As a CRM Technical Architect for the U.S. Region, you will drive target state architectures for CRM capabilities. In alignment with Enterprise level standards, you will formulate a comprehensive CRM architecture strategy and execute against it. You will interface with stakeholders to understand business objectives, then design & build solutions, whether internal or external. You will stay ahead of changing technologies and demonstrate experience with clean interfaces and successful user journeys. This role requires key hard and soft skills.

  • Define, socialize, implement, and maintain Sales technical architecture

  • Collaborate directly with stakeholders, end-users, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and functional partners – Data, Information Security, Identity Management, Compliance, Legal, and Risk to design and develop complete capabilities and integrations

  • Decipher existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources

  • Create better ways of solving technical problems and not be afraid of challenging the status quo

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills needed to facilitate brainstorming sessions, build consensus, and shepherd solutions through governance forums

  • Develop proofs of concept (POC) as needed to evaluate product and technical strategies

  • Own Design Facilitation Guides (DFG) for technical solutions

  • Participate in the full software development life cycle from design to production solutioning

  • Project Delivery – Execute Agile Scrum practices to deliver high quality, on-time changes to the Salesforce FSC and Marketing Cloud products. Participate in the end-to-end development cycle maintaining compliance to policies, procedures, and standards.

Professional Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience as an architect or lead on Salesforce – Financial Services (FSC) & Marketing Cloud

  • 5+ years of application development experience on Salesforce – Financial Services (FSC) & Marketing Cloud

  • Deep experience/knowledge from design to testing of enterprise-wide distributed systems including knowledge of traditional and modern technologies (Web Services, MQ, Kafka, REST, EBSs, API Gateways, etc.)

  • Significant automation experience for minimizing manual processes

  • Proficiency in the Salesforce technology stack, including Apex, Aura/Web Components, Platform Events, API, CPQ, Tableau CRM, Marketing Cloud, and the FSC data model

  • Deep experience analyzing problems and opportunities, then recommending appropriate technology solutions

  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, tools, techniques for availability, scalability, and resiliency

  • Expert communications with c-suite and key technical partners for risk assessment and architecture approvals

  • Able to document and tell a ‘story’ for a technical recommendation from a framework to a features.

Certifications preferred among:

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect

  • Salesforce Certified Data Architect

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.

  • Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
