THE ROLE

  • Hours: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role, the shift is 7:30 am to 4 pm.
  • Act as a Teamplayer: Do what it takes to get the job done and work as a team. Help other associates when asked. Assist with cleaning and maintaining the workstation.
  • Printing Prep & Support: Setup next job on the press (install print cylinders, anilox rolls, and ink chambers). Stage upcoming jobs on worktables (cylinders, rolls, ink chambers). Break down completed jobs (remove cylinders, anilox rolls, ink chambers). Break down and load ink chambers into chamber washer.
  • Quality Support: Wash up letterpress and flexo print units. Maintain general housekeeping of the press area. Identify and flag process issues or changes. Assist in reducing material waste. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or press operators. Load material rolls according to press-specific procedures. Set up magnetic die cylinders and install flex dies. Utilize approval sheet to create core tags for product identification
Qualifications

  • KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history. Prior experience as a Finished Goods Associate, Production Associate, or Receiving Associate, preferred, but not required.
  • SKILLS: Must be able to identify color variation on labels. Perform basic math skills. An eye for detail and ability to operate basic computer systems (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent communication and people skills. Sit-down and reach forklift experience preferred.
  • ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, twisting of lumbar and squatting. Ability to stand and walk on cement floors with anti-fatigue mats. Frequent reaching below the waist and shoulder level, and wrist motion and gripping. Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test.
