We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle School History Teacher to join our team. As a Middle School History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching 6-8th graders and creating a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and state standards
- Utilize technology to enhance student learning and engagement
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and success
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective learning community
Requirements:Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification a plus!
- Experience teaching middle school history-2 years in the classroom
- Strong knowledge of state standards and curriculum
- Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
