Position Classification: Exempt
Location: St. Albans, East
Basic Function:
The leader provides strategic oversight and execution of all marketing, brand initiatives, and internal communications that achieve brand awareness, brand loyalty, business growth, and competitive advantage for FamilyCare Health Centers and FamilyCare Foundation. The manager serves as advisor and implementer for the executive team.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields is required
Minimum of three years of marketing, communications, and public relations experience
Excellent communication (oral, listening, and speaking), diplomacy, discretion, writing, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
Understanding of nonprofits, including mission, vision, and social change
Experience managing press relations and crisis communications
Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
Experience in web development
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for FamilyCare Health Centers and Foundation
Directs the development and production of all brand messaging used in multiple modalities such as print, television, direct mail, radio, and digital media
Manages all advertising and media placement for FamilyCare services and locations
Support the marketing and communications needs of the FamilyCare Foundation
Ensures FamilyCare's image and brand are consistent across all media and communications
Cultivates new and existing relationships with vendors and the media to facilitate the organization's media and public relations objectives
Oversees internal communication such as memos, e-mails, monthly newsletters, etc.
Clearly conveys written and verbal communication to internal and external audiences
Executes a coordinated social media strategy that strengthens all aspects of 'FamilyCare's digital presence across multiple channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc
Maintain a positive social media presence through regular engagement with social media followers
Promotes FamilyCare's accomplishments and events through press releases, media alerts, and stories placed with local and national media outlets
Manages stock of printed materials and promotional items; manages organizational displays; distributes materials to sites and managers as requested
Manages the budget and inventory of promotional items
Routinely recommends strategic and tactical changes to increase access to care and brand recognition
