Position: Graduate Assistant, Graphic Design
Department: SEU Creative
Reports to: Associate Director of Marketing
We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our fast-paced, creative team as a graduate assistant. Join us as we generate ideas, design award-winning marketing materials, and foster a fun and collaborative environment!
Our ideal candidate has an eye for design, a compelling interest in creativity, and a passion for Southeastern University.
What you'll be doing:
? Working alongside the design team in creating a wide range of print and digital materials for external use, promotion of university enrollment, and internal departments
? Designing and executing projects from start to finish, such as social media assets, website assets, emails, brochures, logos, etc.
? Working collaboratively with the entire marketing team to complete projects for the university
? Completing additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree
? Strong experience with layout, design, and typography (including web/digital, email, & print)
? Competency in Adobe Creative software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
? Portfolio of work available
? Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
? Ability to follow timelines and meet deadlines
? Willingness to take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
? Can problem-solve and generate ideas quickly
