About job:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about event planning and management, offering a comprehensive introduction to the industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will support our event coordination efforts, helping to execute a variety of events ranging from corporate conferences to social gatherings

Salary Range: 

$1100 - $1450 per week

Job:  Full time

Location:  Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation.
  • Help with the preparation of event materials including brochures, signage, and programs.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Support the event team on-site during events, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and provide insights for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a passion for event planning.
