Job Description

Two full-time Sign Language Interpreters are sought for the 2025/26 school year to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Roanoke, VA. This contract position offers a competitive weekly pay rate along with full benefits, providing a comprehensive compensation package for the duration of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 or valid RID certification
• Proven experience interpreting in K-12 educational environments preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for classroom instruction and school activities
