We are seeking driven and innovative individuals to join us in shaping the future of the energy transition.

We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join a growing team responsible for leading the economic and financial analysis in support of the CTV business. The role offers significant exposure within the organization and the opportunity to participate from the ground floor in an emerging sector. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in the energy / renewables / infrastructure sectors and possess a strong analytical and financial modeling background.

This position is open to remote work, however, there is a strong preference for a hybrid work-from-home structure based out of our Long Beach, CA office.

The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $94K to $165K with a target annual bonus opportunity ranging from 15% to 20% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive the economic and financial analysis relating to energy transition projects, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities.
• Prepare financial models, valuation, and returns analysis.
• Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential CCS and energy transition projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
• Participate in the evaluation and execution of new commercial structures and partnerships.
• Support the CTV JV, a joint venture (JV) with Brookfield Renewable focused on facilitating the global transition to a net zero carbon economy.
• Contribute meaningfully to the corporate decision-making process and development of business strategies.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and / or abilities required for the job:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics.
• 2+ years of investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, consulting, or like experience.
• Solid corporate valuation expertise and deal experience (preferably in Energy / Infrastructure).
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with internal and external stakeholders and build relationships / achieve goals through influence.
• Creative thinker with the ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial, ever-changing environment.
