Job Description
- Experience of cloud architecture design and implementation experience using AWS, S3, Glue, EMR.
- Strong experience with ETL, Spark, Kafka and Snowflake.
- Strong background in data engineering and knowledge of languages such as python, java, and DevOps.
- Background in data & insights solution development with emphasis on AWS cloud and enterprise platform solutions.
- Ability to work in an agile working environment with aggressive project timeframes.
- Experience in articulating new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Knowledge of AWS solutions architect tools and training with a focus on data engineering (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Dynamo DB, RDS).
- Understanding of product business goals, business processes and solutions architecture.
- Enabling end to end data pipeline observability using AWS native tooling and/or Datadog.
- Basic knowledge of Data Job orchestration using AWS native tooling.
- Basic knowledge of Data Movement tools such as StreamSets Data Collector and StreamSets Control Hub
